八、不定式的被动形式

当不定式的逻辑主语是动作的承受者时，这个不定式要用被动式，包括它的一般式和完成式。如：

1. It is important for me to be chosen as a member of the committee.

/ As far as his ability is concerned, it is impossibel for him to have been assigned such an important post.（不定式作主语）

1. He preferred to be given heavier work to do. / The guests were

   planned to have been guided before Friday.（动词不定式作宾语）

2. Our director wanted the files to be sent to him at once. / They

   expected the experiments to have been finished the day before yesterday.（动词不定式构成复合宾语）

3. No food is allowed to be taken out of the cafeteria. / The

   university is said to have been set up more than 40 yearsago.

（动词不定式构成复合谓语）

1. They are going to hold an English Speech Contest *to be sponsored by

   the big company*. / There are many problems raised at this meeting *to have been discussed earlier*. （动词不定式作定语）

2. He was too young to be loaded such a burden. （动词不定式作状语）
