In 1961 a new U.S.Ambassador (大使)came to Venezuela (委内瑞拉).This was a man who was born in a Latin American (拉丁美洲的) country but was working for U.S.imperialism. The news of his coming made the Venezuelan people very angry.

One day he stole into the University of Venezuela with some of his men to take a look. But when he was getting ready to leave, he was found out by a girl student. Immediately she started running about and shouting at the top of her voice:"The U.S.Ambassador is here! By this time the reactionary government had heard of this and had sent the army to surround the university. But more than six thousand students gathered to hold a meeting. Again and again they shouted:"Down with U.S.imperialism!" "Yankees(美国佬),get out of Venezuela!" At the end of the meeting,the U.S.Ambassador was turned out of the university.
