Long， long ago，the Greeks and the Trojans wereenemies.A war started.For ten vears the Greek sol-diers wanted tO take the city of Troy，but they couldnot，because the walls of the city were strong.Thenthe Greek made a big wooden horse。Twenty soidiershid themselves in it.All the other soldiers wentaway.

The people of Troy saw the horse.They said： “What is that wooden horse？Let’s take it into thecjty.We can open the gate of the city now becausethe Greek soldiers have gone away。”

so they opened the gate of Troy and took thewooden horse into the city.

At night the men got out of the wooden horseand opened the gate.The other Greek soldiers cameback.They ran in and destroved the city of Troy.
