Why Don't the Eyes Feel Cold?

Among the many nerves on the eyeball are nerves sensitive to

touching and pain, but not nerves sensitive to cold. Therefore, no matter how cold the weather is, the eyes do not feel cold. In addition, the eyelids are just like two doors which prevent cold wind from entering. So the temperature of the eyeball is higher than that of the tip of the nose, ears and fingers, which

are ex to the air.
